Feature Film!

2008 is off to a great start! I feel very blessed to have landed a role in Universal Pictures movie CHILLED IN MIAMI  starring Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr. Its a great scene with Renee Zellweger ... read more HERE!


Premiere!

DRIVING ME MAD will be premiering at the Park Theatre
Thursday December 13 at 7:30pm!
Very excited to be showcasing this film!
Exciting news... I landed a role in the movie HIGH LIFE  as Nurse "Tracy" in a scene with Rossif Sutherland.
Thanks to Gary Yates and the cast and crew (Winnipeg crews are amazing!)


Lots of Filming!

Fall has been exciting for me - great roles, and amazing projects.
In the first project I was the female lead in the very talented Cam Patterson's  (writer/director) film DRIVING ME MAD along with   Aaron Hughes  as the male lead.

The remainder of my September and October were spent as the female lead on a TV series pilot titled BEYOND, written and directed by Ram Balachandra.
Thank you to the wonderful cast of Darcy Fehr, Brian Roach, Aaron Hughes and Nick Ouellette   (and Brent Deere and his amazing crew!)

In festival news ... Re-Order by Sean Garrity (I have a small role) played at both Toronto International Film Festival and the Vancouver International Film   Festival!

Time flies!!

Summer is almost over and updates are long overdue!
I have been traveling for most of the summer and enjoying the incredible heat wave we have had! I was, however, lucky enough to spend one day on the set of THE BOX COLLECTOR   starring   Margot Kidder!  Superman was my very first movie magic experience so it was a HUGE thrill to see her.

I spent my August long weekend with the fine folks of Farpoint Films  . I played one of the leads in their new comedy A FABLE ABOUT BEAUTY directed by John Barnard . It was a perfect weekend of filming with a great cast and crew !!

The sun is officially shining!
Spent a couple days on the set of   THE HEAVEN PROJECT   with a small role.
The movie was written and directed by   John Glenn   and stars Paul Walker .

Europe!!
Just returned from a beautiful trip to France and Italy! Made it hard to come back to see temperatures still below zero ... but I am certain Spring is near!
While I was away... THE LOOKOUT saw a theatrical release! It's getting excellent reviews... GO SEE IT!!

Excited to see that a short I did, Coffee Maker by the very talented Polly Washburn will be showing at a screening at the NSI FILMEXCHANGE!

Also get to work with Sean Garrity in his next short film this month. Stay tuned for details!! Spring is on it's way!!

It is the start of another exciting year! May all your wishes come true in 2007! First some catch up news... I was very fortunate to land a role in the Fox TV Movie What if God Were The Sun. The movie filmed in December and was directed by the VERY generous Stephen Tolkin and stars   Lacey Chalbert and   Gena Rowlands.

I feel sooooo blessed to have been so busy lately that I haven't had time to update my website! So... where do I start!
Watch for a commercial I filmed with Frantic Films and Now Communications directed by Darren Wall. What an amazing shoot! Felt like I just got there and then poof we were done. It should be a great commercial... everyone was wonderful to work with!
Had the blessing of spending a weekend with my acting coach from Vancouver, Shea Hampton as she gave me a good tune up!
Spend time in front of the camera with Rob Gilbert... will post some of the photos as soon a I get the chance (and get to see them... the suspense!).
Was thrilled to get to film with my friend and talented peer Aaron Hughes in what I am positive is going to be an amazing short film by the VERY talented Nick Friesen! (and one of the best parts is I got to act with my long lost McMahon siblling ... hehe! You were awesome Kristen!)
